About this Speaker

Adam Bokmeyer was hired to restart the historic program at St. Andrews University in June of 2018. After recruiting for a year, the program restarted with 31 players and the first season back was cut quickly short through the COVID pandemic. Adam was the assistant head coach and defensive coordinator at the University of Texas for the past two seasons and helping lead them to 19 wins over two years. He coached the defense to a #4 ranking in the country and coached the defensive player and rookie of the year. Before Texas, he coached at the Smithson Valley High School (TX) lacrosse club for two seasons, and was also the assistant head coach and DC at NCAA D-2 Adams St. University (CO) from 2012-14. He got his coaching start in California working at Rancho Bernardo HS in the mid-2000s and was also the head women's lacrosse coach at Sonoma St. University (CA) in 2008-09. He then worked as the Assistant HC and DC at Chico St. University in CA from 2010-12. Bokmeyer played as both an offensive and defensive midfielder as he attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY from 2004-06. Bokmeyer, a native of El Cajon, CA, received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Colorado St. University in 2012 while he also received his M.B.A. in Finance from Washington St. University in 2019. He is currently in his Doctoral program in Educational Leadership through Drexel University.
